Hubbard’s history dates back to 1795, when Nehemiah Hubbard purchased the Hubbard Township property and made his first land sale to Samuel Tylee. The village grew, thanks to immigrants moving to the Township, and became a statutorily incorporated municipality in 1868.
As of the 2010 census, Hubbard had a population of 7,874, and nearly 27% of households have children under the age of 18 years old.
